Genre Films on TCM (10.20.09)

Starting tonight, 10.20.09, and running into tomorrow morning, Turner Classic Movies has a classic genre lover's wet dream on tap. Not one, not two, not three, not even four...but FIVE William Castle films, followed by a couple of other outcasts that the dedicated viewer may want to watch.

Better brew some coffee, it's gonna be a long night!

"A man whose face is frozen in a horrible smile forces a doctor to treat him."

9:45 PM Straight-Jacket (1964)
"Murder follows an axe murderer home when she's released from a mental hospital."

11:30 PM The Tingler (1959)
"A scientist discovers an organism that lives on fear."

1:00 AM 13 Ghosts (1960)
"A family inherits a house haunted by 13 ghosts and a living killer."

2:30 AM The Old Dark House (1963)
"An eccentric millionaire invites a car salesman to visit his decaying family home."

4:00 AM The Old Dark House (1932)
"A storm strands travelers in a house full of dangerous eccentrics."

5:15 AM Short Film: The Tell-Tale Heart (1942)

  1. I love William Castle's films, especially Straight Jacket "It was TWENTY YEARS OF PURE HELL!" Gotta love Joan and her scenery chewing ways.

What do you got to say about it!?
